to me, there is nothing like an open road and a great soundtrack to go along for the journey.

i get so excited when i discover a new artist for the first time. i usually end up playing them over and over...and over again, until i stumble upon someone new or until i re-discover music i already have.

so, i thought it would be exciting to post about a different artist each week. maybe even introduce you, in whatever corner of the world you are in, to someone you might never have heard before!

to get this started, a great artist who is on my current playlist, who i was actually first introduced to by my sister, is the "indie folk-rock band" HEM
